Rs.50 lakh chemistry lab for Cuddalore Periyar Arts College

Cuddalore:

Environment Minister M.C. Sampath inaugurated a chemistry laboratory built at a cost of Rs. 50 lakh at Periyar Government Arts College here on Saturday (26.10.2013). The Minister reportedly sanctioned the entire amount for construction of the laboratory from his MLA’s Local Area Development Funds. Speaking on the occasion, he said that Chief Minister Jayalalithaa had taken many initiatives for improving the standard of education. For enhancing skills of students and to help them shine in their career, she had launched the free laptop scheme.
