More than 100 models of various scientific inventions and prototypes were exhibited at Scifest 2014, organised by the Periyar Arts College, Cuddalore. the Event held on 27.02.2014 at college premisses. 

The exhibition included ISRO rockets, Mangalayan Space Mission, wind and solar energy devices.School students in-and-around Cuddalore visited the exhibition held on National Science Day, which commemorates the discovery of the Raman Effect by Sir C.V. Raman. K. Anantha Sivan, from the Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research, Kalpakkam was the chief guest. T. Kumar, superintendent lab, BARCF, Kalpakkam, also spoke.
