68-வது சுதந்திர தின விழாக் கொண்டாட்டம் –பெரியார் கலைக் கல்லூரியின் பொன்விழா ஆண்டு சுநத்திர தின விழா- சிறப்பாக கொண்டாடப்பட்டது.

       இந்தியா சுதந்திரமடைந்து இன்று நாம் 68-ஆம் ஆண்டில் உள்ளோம். சுதந்திர போராட்டத்தில் உயிர்நீத்த தியாகிகளை நினைத்து நம் நாட்டின் ஒருமைப்பாட்டை கட்டிக் காக்கும் பொறுப்பை நாம் கடைபிடிக்க வேண்டிய தருணமிது.

          உலக அரங்கில் இன்று இந்தியா ஒரு பலம் மிக்க நாடாக திகழ்கின்றது. நம் இந்திய நாட்டின் அரசியல் பொருளாதார மற்றும் சமூக வளர்ச்சியின் உச்ச கட்டத்தை எய்த நம்மால் முடிந்த பணிகளை திறம்பட மேற்கொள்ள வேண்டும்.

          பல்வேறு சமூக பொருளாதார மற்றும் அரசியல் சவால்களை சந்தித்த நம் நாடு மக்களாட்சி மகத்துவத்தை சிறப்பாக வேரூன்றி தழைக்க சூழ்நிலைகளை உருவாக்கியுள்ளது.

      இந்திய சுதந்திர ஆண்டில் கிராமப்புற வளர்ச்சியில் புதிய உத்வேகத்தை மத்திய மாநில அரசுகள் மேற்கொள்ள வேண்டும். இத்தருணத்தில் மூன்று அடிப்படையிலான சவால்களை நாம் எதிர்கொள்ள வேண்டியுள்ளது.

                    1. பரவலாக்கப்பட வேண்டிய கல்வி   

                    2.கிராம வேலைவாய்ப்பு மற்றும் அடிப்படை தேவைகளை பூர்த்தி செய்தல்

                  3. மக்களின் தேவைக்கேற்ப சுற்று சுழ்நிலையை பாதுகாத்தல்.

                  4. நல்லரசு மற்றும் வெளிப்படையிலான நிர்வாகம்.
                 5. பொருளாதார வளர்ச்சி மற்றும் பெண்களுக்கான பாதுகாப்பு ஆகும்.

       “வேற்றுமையில் ஒற்றுமை காணும்” இந்தியாவில் மத நல்லிணக்கத்திற்கு வழிவகை வேண்டும். மிக பரந்தயளவில் அனைவரும் அரசியலில் பங்கேற்று மக்களாட்சி மரபுகளை போற்ற வேண்டும்.

     கூனி நிற்கும் கிராம மக்களின் வாழ்வில் வசந்தமாக சுதந்திர காற்று வீசி புதிய பாதையை உருவாக்க வேண்டும்.

      பாரத தாயே உன் காலை தொட்டு வணங்குவதில் உயிர்க்கு நடு அர்த்தத்தை உணர்கிறேன்.

68^th year of India’s Independence Celebrated at Periyar Arts College, Cuddalore

We are proudly celebrating the 68^th year of India’s independence. We are in an important phase wherein we to sustain our national integration even as we pay rich homage to the martyrs who laid down their invaluable lives in the struggle for India’s independence.

Today India is recognized as a potential power among the other countries of the world. We have to put forward our utmost efforts in order to make our country reach the pinnacle of glory in the political, economical and social spheres.

Our county has successfully overcome several social, economic and political challenges and has deeply entrenched within itself the significance of the spirit of democracy. Further, our country has created a conducive atmosphere for democracy to flourish.

In this eventful 68^th year of India’s independence our Central and State Governments must instill a fresh viguour towards the development of our villages. At this juncture we have to encounter three fundamental problems.

1.  To ensure wide spread knowledge

2.  To ensure rural employment and fulfill our basic necessities.

3. To conserve our environment according to the needs of the people.

4.  Ensure good governance and transparent administration.

5.  Ensure economic growth and security for women.

India is a country which epitomizes “Unity in diversity”. We Indians have to ensure religious tolerance in keeping with our highest ideal of unity in diversity. All of us have to participate in the political process and cherish the noble ideas of democracy.

Let the sweet spring-time breeze of freedom flow into the decrepit lives of our villages and pave a way for their upliftment.

O Mother India! I realize the essence of my life in respectfully touching your feet and paying obeisance to you.
